As the sun hid behind the mountains like a giant, honey-sweet cookie, an evening blanket woven from pink and purple tulle spread over the Whispering Forest. Pine trees swayed gently from side to side in the soft breeze, and their leaves whispered a sweet lullaby: «Shhh, shhh, it's time to sleep...» In a small wooden hut in the quietest corner of the forest lived a lovely bear cub named Pambıq. Pambıq's ears were as soft as cotton candy, and his nose looked like a shiny black button.
That evening, Pambıq had put on his favorite starry pajamas, brushed his teeth, and snuggled into his cozy, moss-scented bed. Next to him was his beloved toy — a little velvet rabbit named Zıpzıp. But Pambıq's little eyes just wouldn't close. He wiggled his feet under the blanket, turning his pillow this way and that. «I wonder where my sleep is hiding?» Pambıq whispered. «Bunny Zıpzıp has been asleep for ages, but my dreams haven't knocked on my door yet.»
Just then, a shimmering, warm light streamed in through the room's window. It was Pırıltı, the sleep butterfly, gently fluttering her silvery wings. Pırıltı drew small golden circles on the ceiling of the room before landing at the foot of Pambıq's bed. Her delicate voice was as soft and sweet as a bell's chime: «Good evening, Pambıq! Are you looking for sleep? I've brought you three little secrets that lead to the garden of dreams,» she said.
Pambıq pulled his blanket up to his chin and listened with curiosity.
«The first secret,» Pırıltı said softly, «is to blow away the wiggles and jiggles in your body. Imagine you're cooling down hot soup: breathe deeply through your nose, and then slowly release your breath as if blowing out a candle.»
Pambıq lifted his nose and inhaled the air, filled with the scent of honey-lavender. Then he pursed his lips and exhaled with a «Whoosh...» As he breathed out, he felt his little arms and legs become as light as clouds. His mouth opened wide on its own: «Haaa-uuuvv...» Look, his first sleepy yawn had arrived!
«The second secret,» the butterfly whispered, gently fluttering her wings, «is to remember the moment that made you happiest today and wrap it around your heart like a warm blanket.»
Pambıq squinted his eyes and thought. In the morning, he had played with colorful stones in the river, and in the afternoon, he had picked sweet strawberries with his mommy. As he remembered his mommy's warm hug, his heart filled with a sweet comfort, as if he had drunk honey syrup. He yawned a second time: «Huuu-aaaa...» This yawn lasted so long that even Zıpzıp the bunny on his pillow smiled in his sleep.
«And the third secret,» said the sleep butterfly. Her voice now sounded like a distant lullaby, «is to close your eyes and imagine that Grandpa Moon in the sky is smiling at you. That light will protect you until morning.»
Pambıq slowly lowered his eyelids. His eyes were already warm and heavy. Outside, the river sweetly whispered: «Shirr-shirr, sleep, sweet bear, shirr-shirr...» The night wind also gently touched the window: «Good night, sweet dreams...»
Pambıq hugged his velvet bunny and felt as if he were floating on pink cotton clouds in the sky. All the sounds of the forest faded away, and the little bear fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.
Now it's your turn to sleep, my little listener. Lay your head on your pillow, take a deep breath, and imagine the butterfly's shimmering wings. All sweet dreams await you tonight. Good night...
