The Rooster bought himself an accordion. He came home from the market, sat on the fence, and started playing the accordion. He played for one day, he played for two days, he played for three days... He completely forgot about his owner: he no longer woke him up in the mornings to go to work.

The owner was offended by the rooster:
— Because of you, I couldn't feed the horse, plow the field, or sow the seeds. Get out of here! I don't want to hear your accordion again, or else it will be bad.

The Rooster was very ashamed. He took his accordion and went to the forest.

As the Rooster walked through the forest, robbers appeared before him:
— Hey, Rooster, where did you get this accordion?
— I bought it.
— And where did you get the money?
— My owner gave it to me.
— Does your owner have a lot of money?
— If you come with me, you'll see everything for yourselves.

After night fell, the Rooster brought the robbers to the village. To search for money, he had them hitch the plow and plow the field. The robbers plowed the entire field, but they found no money.

— Oh, Rooster, where is this money then?
— Perhaps my owner hid them somewhere else. Let's go to the barn.

The Rooster brought the robbers to the barn. He had them fill sacks and carry them to the field. The robbers finished sowing all the seeds in the field, but still found no money.

— Oh, Rooster, what have you done with this money?
— Perhaps my owner moved them. You play the accordion next to the house, and I'll check the cellar.

The Rooster went down to the cellar, leaving the robbers outside to play the accordion.

The owner heard the sound of the rooster's accordion and woke up. He grabbed his whip and ran to the yard, whipping the robbers soundly. The robbers, terrified, barely escaped with their lives and started running towards the forest.

The Rooster came out of the barn. He started crowing. He reconciled with his owner and continued to live happily. From that day on, they played the accordion together. One would play, and the other would dance.
